The hosts were warm and helpful, and breakfast was very nice. Our suite was spacious, especially the huge bathroom, and the air conditioning worked well. It was also very quiet. The hotel has indoor and outdoor pools, a tennis court, a golf driving range, plus plenty of mountain routes for walking or cycling. It's about 4 kilometres uphill from Tarbena, in the mountains behind Altea, and has a traditional Spanish feel with dark furniture. We booked an evening meal in advance, though the hosts also suggested restaurants in Tarbena. A couple of things let it down for us: the outdoor pool is more than 100 metres uphill, which isn't great if you're less mobile, and our TV wouldn't work. There was nobody available to ask about it before 10pm.

We came for our 25th wedding anniversary and were treated like royalty. The staff were so friendly, the service was superb, and the food was amazing. If you're looking for peace and a break from the rat race, this is the place.

The pool has lovely views, and the staff were friendly. It's a nice hotel, though I didn't love having to pay extra for some facilities, including the indoor pool and sauna. Still, I'd recommend it.

The landscape around Casa Villa Lehmi is a paradise for hiking and being out in nature. We chose Tárbena for a peaceful getaway close to home, and the beautiful, elegant, calm, luxurious house exceeded everything we expected. Susie looked after us so attentively. We only stayed one night and had dinner there, but next time we'll eat at the hotel. We'll definitely be back. 100% recommended.
