Hotel Los Cigarrales

We booked clean, tidy double rooms, and the staff were friendly, helpful and generous about letting us check in earlier than planned. The hotel is affordable and easy to reach by car or bus, including Line 7.1. It’s only a few minutes’ drive from all three viewpoints (Mirador de Toledo). There’s a public area on the ground floor with a vending machine and microwave, handy for a snack or simple dinner. They offer a buffet breakfast as well as pay-what-you-eat options. We left early and couldn’t try breakfast, but the service throughout our stay was satisfying, so I expect it would be too.

We liked being a decent walk south of central Toledo. There’s a great view over the whole city right by the hotel, then you can walk down into town. The service was great, and the quality was excellent for the price.

Excellent value, with spacious rooms. The shower leaked moderately behind the toilet, and there was a bit of black mold around the silicone at the base, the shower bottom and doors, and behind the toilet. Still, it was better than some other places. There’s no self-service laundry, only a morning housekeeping laundry service. The walls are a bit thin and we could hear other TVs, though it was generally quiet, perhaps because we got lucky.

The parking across the road worked out fine, and breakfast was okay, with a decent choice and amount of food. My flight was delayed, so I couldn't arrive for check-in on time, but they left the key in a box. That was really practical.
