María Cristina Hotel

The evening meal situation was a letdown: the café only opens during the day, so guests have to go out for dinner. There were no tea or coffee facilities in the room either, and you had to pay for drinks from a machine near reception. It was broken, so we couldn't even buy water. Breakfast was poor. The bacon, tortilla and mini frankfurters were cold, the bread rolls were hard, and the meat selection seemed straight from a cheap supermarket. The coffee was bland. I also saw the matra D put unused cutlery from vacated tables back in a drawer for future guests. I won't be returning.

The breakfast was the best I've ever had, with a great range of fresh, delicious food in a lovely, cozy dining area. Mr. Mandeep was especially professional and friendly while serving breakfast. At Hotel Maria Cristina, I was welcomed warmly from the moment I arrived. Ms. Margherita gave particularly attentive service, and everyone I met went out of their way to help. My room was spacious, spotless and elegantly furnished, with a very comfortable bed. I left feeling that the stay had surpassed all my expectations.

Dinner at the restaurant was lovely, and the waitress was a delight. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room was large and clean, with a really comfortable bed, and the hotel is close to the attractions. The underground parking spaces were small, and there was no kettle in the room. Still, we had a great stay and would happily come back.

The location is also good, close to all the attractions.
