The breakfast had plenty of choice and was good, though the quality wasn't the best. Check-out at noon was a plus. Still, this was an okay stay, but I wouldn't call it a four-star hotel. It feels like the rating may have been given back in the 80s or 90s and never revisited. We'd booked a double bed, and I phoned that morning to confirm it. Reception said rooms were first come, first served, but when we arrived just before check-in, we were given two singles. They then said nothing else was available. We pushed the beds together in the end. There were queues at breakfast and reception. In the room, not every plug worked, cables were exposed, and there was no tea, coffee or kettle. The headboard was coming apart, the pillows were lumpy and worn with only one per bed, and the duvets looked overused and flat. The room wasn't very clean either. I found and killed an insect on the bed that looked like a flea; I'm glad my wife didn't see it.

We only stayed one night before our flight. The location outside the city worked well, and there was free parking on site. The pool wasn't very clean and there weren't enough sunbeds. No kettle or coffee machine in the room. The restaurant only offered a buffet at 30 euros per adult, with no à la carte option, and the pool bar had drinks but no food. I'm not sure it merits four stars.

Thin walls, and screaming kids on both sides. We could hear the neighbours talking, and there was a long wait at reception. The place looked old and worn. Horrible stay, the worst hotel ever.

The pool area is beautiful, with lovely views, and the hotel itself is large and comfortable. Our room was spacious and clean, with a roomy, well-kept bathroom. The decor looked a bit dated, but the furniture was still in excellent shape. It's a fair way from other parts of the city, with little nearby, so you'll need a car to go beyond the hotel, pool and spa.

The breakfast was delicious, and the location was fantastic. Whenever I needed a cab, the team were very accommodating, and Victor gave me a warm welcome when I arrived at the end of May. My iPhone had only 5% battery, and I urgently needed travel adapters. Victor kindly helped me find a solution and put me at ease straight away. I'm grateful to him and all the staff. Muchas gracias! I'd highly recommend Hotel Beatriz and hope to return.
