Hostel Albergue Monte Perdido

I planned on three days, then extended my stay twice and ended up there for more than a week. The staff were so friendly, everything was clean, and there was a kitchen and good wifi that reached the rooms. Free laundry was a bonus. It’s also well placed in Torla, close to the bus station for getting to the park. I couldn’t have asked for a better hostel. Thank you so much!

There’s a bakery and small market about a two-minute walk away, and the location is incredible. The host was welcoming, and the rooms were as clean and well kept as a hotel. The shared cooking area had plenty of fridge space for food. It’s got the charm and feel of a hostel, which worked really well.

We had the family room on the top floor, with four very comfortable single beds and a private bathroom. The wood beams overhead are beautiful. The place feels ancient and charming, but it’s also welcoming, clean, and updated in thoughtful ways. Wifi is available, though a little slow. You probably won’t want to spend much time online here anyway.

At just €15 a night, this was a five-star stay. The best hostel I’ve ever been to, outstanding in every way.
