The buffet breakfast had a great variety, and the room was very clean and had everything I needed. It was simple, with a comfortable bed and a convenient private bathroom, and good value for money. I stayed while walking the Camino del Norte. The location isn’t especially scenic, but the stay was very positive, and it was a good place to relax and recharge. I’d recommend it for a comfortable, restful night on the Camino.

The muffins were moldy, and the staff were EXTREMELY rude and unfriendly. The gentleman running the place should be ashamed. He made it seem like travelers were a huge inconvenience. Camino walkers should know the kitchen closes from 330pm to 830pm, and there aren’t any other options within easy walking distance.

One tall, angry man runs this Hotel, and he screamed at me for taking a call in the restaurant. He was incredibly negative and the rudest, most unfriendly person you could encounter. I’ve never been treated so rudely at a hotel. I’m sorry for all the nice, hardworking people there, but don’t go here.

Ricardo greeted us straight away, and we really appreciated how kind and efficient he was. He showed us the fresh fish planned for that evening’s menu. It was cooked to perfection, one of the best fish meals I’ve ever had. Ricardo paired it with a delicious Galecian white wine.

The owner was kind, and the rooms were clean. It was a good place to stay on the camino, though the food was just okay. Lights were off by 10pm. Breakfast was quite minimal, with no vegetarian or vegan option at all.
