Pil Lari Playa

We weren’t staying at the hotel, but they were incredibly helpful. My girlfriend needs coffee before work, and at 04.30 our fridge broke and we had no milk. I went out to find someone and asked the Allsun receptionist for advice. She was wonderful and gave us a full cup. Such a kind gesture, it restored my faith in people looking out for their neighbors. Thank you so much :-)

I wouldn’t recommend this place. We got to the hotel at 10:00 after getting up at 03:00 and dragging our child through the airports. He was so unsettled and restless that he couldn’t fall asleep again. I practically begged to get into the room a little earlier, at 13:00, but they kept refusing. On top of that, the air conditioning didn’t work. I also wouldn’t recommend all-inclusive for families with small children. The airport was another problem. It’s pretty big and very disorganized, and no one could find baggage claim in all the chaos. In short, don’t go to Palma.

The entertainment was really great, and Jerome is cool and doing 👍. The waitresses were all very nice, and the food was good. We loved the hotel enough to come back for a second stay. The rooms are nice, new, and warm, with views of the shore and Promenade from every room. The sunsets are great too. The indoor pool was good, with a Jacuzzi and both Nordic and Turkish saunas.

The hotel staff speak Spanish and German, while their English is poor or nonexistent, which makes things hard for guests who don’t speak German. Some restaurant employees were very unfriendly, though others were friendly and deserve credit. The service and hotel condition were both bad. The location is good, close to the bus and beach. The air conditioning barely works, and the heat woke me during the night. The bathroom is tiny, and water gets the door wet because the shower won’t close. You can hear babies crying next door, so the rooms are badly insulated. There were blood stains on the bed sheets. We also had an issue with the rental car company the hotel works with. They didn’t give us information about the rental, such as GPS, which led to miscommunication. We tried to sort it out with the hotel manager but got nowhere. It wasn’t a good hotel experience. Mallorca is amazing, but I’ll never return to Pil Lari Playa Hotel, Allsun.
