Hotel Valdemoro

We couldn't sleep during our three-night school trip because the walls were so thin. Staff were mean, and someone barged into our room three times at night. The food was raw and inedible. There were problems everywhere: the shower curtain fell from the ceiling, the safe wouldn't lock properly, and the hanger came down after we put one coat on it, so we had to put it back ourselves. The location felt miserable and scary at night, and reception was open for about an hour a day. The only good part was leaving. I feel scarred for life. If you're planning a nice vacation in Madrid, definitely don't stay here.

Getting to the Center wasn't easy, and there weren't many restaurants close by. The rooms were quite small, with bathroom doors that didn't lock, and the shower barely had any water pressure. Breakfast was mostly bread, with little variety, and the juices weren't fresh.

You could hear everything from the other rooms, and staff didn't speak English. The air conditioning leaked all over the place. There was nowhere to put the shower head, and the hairdryer didn't work.

The breakfast was very poor. We were heading to the car park to collect our car and intended to come back to pay, but the morning receptionist was very rude and chased us down the road over the payment.
