We paid €398 for the accommodation, but the apartment we were meant to stay in had already been given to someone else when we arrived. There were pants, car keys, and a wallet in the room. We waited half an hour for someone to show up, then they put us in an old apartment that wasn’t worth the price. They promised a full refund, but we’ve only been given €20. Ridiculous and sad service from booking. The posted apartment photos are fake, and they give you old, broken, dirty ones instead. The old children with us were disappointed with Valencia because of the Madrina apartments. Beware of these booking scammers.

Staff were nice and helpful, and we had a comfortable stay. The apartment was new, spacious, and well equipped, including cooking facilities, an oven, dishwasher, and washing machine. Lots of major sights are walkable. There’s a big market nearby with seafood, meat, ham, cheese, fruit, and vegetables, plus a supermarket about a two-minute walk away for drinks and supplies. One thing to remember, tea, coffee, and shampoo aren’t provided, so bring your own!

It gets very noisy here, with parties from time to time. Tourists go away.

It was alright, though smaller than I expected and not what the listing showed.
