Colors Rooms

Great central spot for a short stay in Valencia, with a private bathroom in every room. It's an excellent budget hostal, and the owner couldn't have been more welcoming.

Fabio gave us a lovely welcome when we arrived, showed us a map, and shared tips about where to go, including some local secrets. That personal warmth was refreshing, and not something you often get at hotels or Airbnbs. The room was clean and well equipped, with a private shower and toilet, and the location made the main sights easy to reach on foot. We'd gladly come back. Thanks, Fabio! :)

A staff member treated me badly over my civil status. He knew the word “concept” and considered himself highly educated, but seemed ignorant about colours, colour therapy, and customer service. The property advertises a choice of room colour. I paid for two people, with a single-occupancy discount of just €4, and was told I couldn't have the purple room for my birthday. I chose the option the property had suggested, but after paying, I was told the room definitely wouldn't be purple. I cancelled the booking, so booking.com wouldn't let me post this review. I suspect that's why its rating there is high. In our correspondence, the hotel said it would be difficult to organize rooms around each guest's colour preference and that the room would not be purple. They said they would understand if I cancelled. I replied that they shouldn't advertise the option if they couldn't provide it. They then said they hadn't suggested colours, called my way of speaking uneducated, and said they wouldn't accept my reservation. I told them I didn't want the reservation and that their tone from the start was unacceptable. I hope everyone has a nice holiday and adequate people around them. 💜🙏

The owners were so friendly and helpful, explaining everything and making me feel at home. The spacious rooms were spotless and comfortable, with a fantastic shower, bed, and WiFi. A really unbeatable option in Valencia. 10 out of 10, recommended. Thanks for everything. 💯
