Easy hotel cancelled two of my bookings for the Valencia marathon without giving a reason, leaving us with no options. Disgraceful.

I booked this hotel in May for September, and then they cancelled my reservation out of the blue, just a month before the stay. There’s no other accommodation at the same price available, which is exactly why I booked months in advance. They can’t be trusted and aren’t reliable. Be aware, don’t book here if you don’t want your plans cancelled.

There was no phone in the room, so whenever I needed something I had to go down to the front desk. Cleaning was only once every four days, and checkout was at 10 a.m., earlier than noon at all the other hotels we stayed in across Spain. They even charged for checking in just one hour early. During the day the AC switched off every hour, and there was no window to open. On warm days, leaving at 8:30 and coming back at 4 meant walking into a hot, stuffy room. The “easy” in their name seems to mean easy for them and difficult for you. They make things sound like they’re for the environment, but it feels like it’s really about money.

The staff were amazing and always ready to help, and the hotel is super close to the centre. Everything about the stay was amazing. It’s a super new, clean hotel too!
