Ilunion Valencia 3 Hotel

The rooms were probably the best part, but there was a smell from some of the air conditioners and the bathroom door in my room wouldn't shut properly. I'd recommend this place for business trips; it wasn't so great for a holiday. The pool is small and doesn't open until 11.30, and it doesn't get sun until 12.30. The hotel is outside the city, though a few underground trains and trams make getting around easy. Service was hit or miss depending on who was at the desk.

The WiFi was out the whole time, and none of the TV channels worked. There was stuff smeared on the walls and black mould growing in a shower corner. The rooms were large, but the bathroom was too small for more than one person at a time. I travel a lot and have stayed in plenty of hotels. I'd avoid coming back here.

The buffet breakfast was really good, with plenty of choices, including lactose-free milk. I found the hotel clean and pleasant, and the staff were polite and professional. We wanted somewhere away from the city-centre noise but still within an easy walk of trams, buses, and the metro, and this location suited us well. Our room was comfortable, though the air conditioning was a little noisy. The pool is small and has limited opening hours, so I wouldn't choose this place if the pool were the main reason for your stay. WiFi was VERY limited in our room on the 11th floor, but fine at reception. I'd recommend the hotel and would consider staying with this chain again.

The interior looked really nice, and the receptionist was very helpful. I had a double room with a single bed, good WiFi, and a stunning view, especially at night. It was also very close to all the attractions I wanted to visit. Breakfast was buffet style.
