NAP Hostel

Please avoid this hotel. I arrived at Nap Hostel at 7 pm and found the police investigating the place. They told me the hostel was illegal and had no license, and said I should find somewhere else to stay or report the case to National police. I emailed the property to ask for a refund, and they replied by asking if I’d enjoyed my stay. I also checked with booking.com, but that was useless.

Don’t make the same mistake I did. Someone’s belongings were on the bed assigned to me. After they moved me to another bed, I went out for dinner and came back to find someone in that bed too. Reception wasn’t open during peak check-in hours, and the facilities are terrible. The AI images make the place look fancy. Absolutely do not stay here.

There’s no private bathroom, and showering feels completely unsafe. My room smelled bad, was tiny and uncomfortable, and looked nothing like the pictures. There was no real privacy, and I found cockroaches in the room. The charging cable didn’t work, which was the final straw, and then the lights went out. I’d rather spend more somewhere else. 0/10, would not recommend, especially for women.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the cleaning staff do their best to keep up with the mess left by other guests. The location is great, but I can’t recommend staying here in good faith, especially if you’re a girl traveling alone. I’ve stayed in MANY hostels and never had this weird, off-putting feeling before. The awkward layout didn’t help, with the only toilets and lockers away from most rooms. I couldn’t quite explain it, but I felt I couldn’t trust 90% of the people staying there.
