The hotel is well located in the center, but the rooms were terrible. Ours was very clean, yet so loud that it felt as if the window was permanently open. Since the hotel is right beside the Main Street, sleeping felt like being out on the street. It’s totally overpriced and not up to the usual NH standard.

There were a few nice restaurants nearby, though the options were pretty limited. It works for a short stay, but after visiting I wished I’d booked somewhere closer to the city center. Getting around at night was especially tricky.

The hotel itself was fine, right across from the aquarium and beside a mall, but I wouldn’t stay there again after this hassle. I booked online on July 27 and paid in full. At check-in they asked for a card to keep on file, which was no problem, but then charged me the full hotel price again. It’s been over a month since my visit and I still haven’t got that money back. I hate leaving a bad review, but I’m still dealing with it.

Getting to the beach or city center is pretty difficult, though there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. I only stayed one night, but the hotel was really comfortable. The room was clean, the beds and pillows were good, and the TV worked. The reception staff were great, the internet was fast and free, and we got two cards for two people instead of having to share one. I’m really happy with the hotel. Thanks for a great holiday! ☺️

The road noise comes right through the windows, even on the side away from the road, so I kept wondering if they were actually shut. The elevators are painfully slow too. You think you’re going from the third floor to the ground, then the doors open on the second. Checkout is at 12, but I came back from breakfast at 10:50 and my card was already blocked. I also noticed check-in signs you up for their newsletter, which seems like a GDPR violation to me.
