The Hostal was quiet, with a nice, clean room and good service. It's nearly 100 metres from a metro station and also near the beach.

Not worth the money.

The broken things and tobacco smell were the first problems we noticed. We knew we weren't booking a fancy hotel, more like rented rooms you'd find on Airbnb, but this felt shabby and short on basics. There were four of us, with a double bed, a single and a sofa bed meant to be provided. The single was only a mattress, with no frame or anything, and it had blood stains, so we didn't use it. There weren't enough sheets, and the ones supplied didn't fit. The duvet on the double barely covered the bed, leaving two people struggling to keep warm. The only extra sheets were for a single bed, even though we were four and there were meant to be at least three beds. Trying to make beds without enough sheets or blankets was a nightmare. The ceiling lights were badly installed and never switched off completely, so we slept terribly. At least we only stayed one night. I absolutely don't recommend it.

For €100 a night, I don't think it was worth it. The room wasn't bad, but it was a bit dirty, the remote didn't work, the air conditioning was out of order, and there was nobody at reception. The bedspread on the 135 cm bed was too short, so your feet stuck out, though they did have spare blankets to cover them. Luckily, we were only there for one night.
