Russafa Youth Hostel

Good value for a Valencia stay. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the staff were friendly and accommodating, especially Josep. Highly recommend.

You can walk to the city's sights from this hostel, since it's near the center. There's also a metro station nearby that links the center with the airport, though it wasn't running because of the current situation. Our room and bathroom were very clean, and the hosts were kind and ready to help. I'd recommend the hostel to anyone visiting Valencia.

The manager is friendly and happy to chat, without getting in your business. Rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. The location works well for picking up fresh food in the morning at the markets or finding a bite at night. There's a fridge guests can use for groceries, which is handy if you're watching your budget. The entrance can be a little tricky to spot, but the hostel name is on a huge sign, so you'll find it. Great service!

The price was fair, and the location made it easy for us to see the whole city on foot. We stayed seven days. The rooms were clean, but the towels were changed only once, and the restrooms could have been cleaner. That was the downside that cost it a star. Noise was another problem. A terrace across from the window stayed open until midnight, so sleeping early wasn't an option. Then from Monday through Saturday, nearby hammering and renovation started at 8 in the morning, so we couldn't sleep in.
