SH Colon Valencia Hotel

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and breakfast was superb. Rooms are comfortable and spacious, with a fridge in the room. The hotel sits right beside the train station, a handy place to start exploring Valencia, even on foot. I'd recommend it if you want a comfortable stay, a fair price, and a convenient base.

The hotel doesn't look particularly special, and you could walk past the entrance if you aren't paying attention. Still, its location is really good. The room was clean, spacious enough, and very nice. I also liked having the sink in the bedroom instead of the bathroom, which felt different from the usual setup. Most of the staff were really friendly.

The neighborhood is lively and full of shops, with good access to everything. The hotel looks much better in person than in the pictures, and room service was very good. The elevators were incredibly fast. Breakfast had plenty of good choices, including fresh juice and different omelets you could order. I think a pool would give the hotel the potential to reach five stars.

We liked breakfast, especially the fresh orange juice and the choice of ham and cheese. Reception staff were lovely and helped us when we needed it. The location is great, close to attractions and lots of restaurants. We weren't keen on the sink setup because water overflowed, and we couldn't get the body wash pump to work.
