The Valentia Corretgera A

The breakfast ran from 7:30 to 11 and had loads to choose from, including smoked salmon, Spanish cheese, muffins, fresh orange juice and proper Spanish coffee. I liked it so much I had two coffees. We only stayed one night, but the whole place was spotless, and our room was beautifully decorated and cleaned. The room was huge, with a kitchenette, a sofa and a spot to sit and eat. The kitchenette had a fridge, stove, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, bowls, plates and cutlery. The bathroom was spacious and clean, with a lovely shower. The hotel is also an easy walk from the cathedral, museums and shops. Staff were really nice and helpful, and we paid 23 euros for 24 hours at a nearby underground car park. I honestly can't fault the place. I'd happily stay again when I'm back in Valencia for work.

We had a room with its own outdoor patio, which I'd definitely recommend. The hotel was spotless and well looked after, and the staff were very friendly and happy to speak several languages. The location is hard to beat. A couple of small things let it down. The shower temperature kept fluctuating, and staff suggested running the kitchen sink at the same time. The WiFi setup was confusing and kept giving us errors, though staff sorted it by letting us use their network. We found the bed too firm and the pillows too small and uncomfortable. Breakfast didn't feel worth what it cost.

They let us check in a little early after a long travel day, which was much appreciated with the jet lag. The room had great amenities and a lovely balcony, and we could store our bikes overnight. Staff were super friendly. It's in a handy part of the city, close to lots of attractions. Definitely one of the best hotels I've stayed in around Europe, and I'd highly recommend it.

Breakfast was lovely, and the breakfast staff were very pleasant. We also got bottles of water in the room every night. The only things I missed were hair conditioner and a shampoo that wasn't also body wash. The room had everything else we needed, and it was clean, lovely and felt luxurious. We stayed four nights in November, and the central location made getting around Valencia easy. The walls are thin, so outside noise and the bell can carry. It didn't bother us much since we're early risers, but it may matter if noise at night is important to you. We didn't use the gym, though you do need to book ahead. We had a great stay and I'd absolutely recommend the hotel.
