A very nice hotel for a stopover on the way to the Santander or Bilbao ferry ports. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the lady at reception and Anna in the bar were exceptional.

The beds were really hard and very difficult to sleep on. Aside from that, it's an excellent hotel with nice rooms and an old fashioned style. It's a bit far from the centre, so you'll need a car.

It's near the highway, but the rooms were quiet even on the street side. A very nice hotel, with a typically Spanish breakfast of coffee and a croissant.

We've been making the trip from Essex to Portsmouth, taking the ferry to santander and driving to valladolid, to stay at hotel conde anzurez for two nights every year for ten years or more. Then we spend the next six nights making our way to Portugal. The hotel is comfortable, the rooms are spotless, and the price is just right. The lovely people and great restaurant make it a regular stop for us. The downside is breakfast at 8 euros, which is very poor, so we don't have it.

We were there recently for a wedding, and both the food and service were top notch. It was an incredible experience. Great hotel, probably the best in valladolid, with fair prices and friendly staff.
