That olive oil is dangerously good. I brought a bottle back to Madrid and already want to return. I came from Madrid with friends for a weekend, and the family-run place was a beautiful escape. The setting was stunning in the sun and still had its own charm in the rain. Our room was very spacious, and the bed gave me some of my best sleep. The hosts, maria Jesus and the rest of the crew were so welcoming. The kitchen staff made wonderful food, and I loved being in the restaurant. The operations manager was clearly passionate about her work, and we went horseback riding one afternoon. The family knows a great deal about bullfighting and raises bulls that may be among the best in the world. 1000/10 experience!

We loved learning about the bulls and seeing how well all the animals are cared for. The 4x4 tour to feed them was great, and Maria even sent us an English recording beforehand. We also had a wonderful ride on horseback across the estate. We don't speak Spanish, but the staff really tried to help us, often with Google Translate. El Anadio was the standout of our months in Andalucia, for our family of two adults, a teenager and a 9-year-old. It was peaceful, with a great pool, lovely garden, and quiet communal sitting rooms. Our room was comfortable and spotless, the staff were great, and the food was really nice. The access road is a bit rough, though we felt it added to the feeling of being away from it all.

We had a dream weekend. The horseback ride carried on until nightfall and was spectacular, and the location itself felt like paradise. Learning about fighting bulls in their natural habitat was fascinating. The food and rooms were wonderful, and the service was warm, friendly, and incredibly attentive. Highly recommended, and we hope to come back.

Ramona's food was divine, full of classic flavors and prepared with real care. Rosa took me on a dreamy horseback ride, and María Jesús and Miguel, the head herdsman, gave us a fascinating, informative visit to the ranch. It's a lovely place to get away from the bustle and learn how bulls are raised and cared for. The staff make you feel right at home, congratulations to them all. I'm already looking forward to visiting again.
