Casa Rural Salazar by Isla Bonita

We had a lovely few days in La Palma with three other couples. We usually visit a different Canary Island every year. The house is spacious, easy to get to by transport, and in a very quiet area. It’s an old house, though, and felt cold and damp at night. That was the only downside.

The person who helped us was excellent, and I’d recommend the place. It’s peaceful and close to Santa Cruz de La Palma, which worked well for several couples. It may not be the best holiday home on La Palma, but it has those advantages.

A good spot for a few days with family or friends. The house is in the countryside in Mazo, La Palma, near the “Suidá” (main town). There are four bedrooms, each with two beds and its own bathroom, plus a large kitchen and an outdoor table and barbecue. The wooden floors and ceilings, antique furniture, and decor give it an old-fashioned feel.

A charming, well-kept country house with all the amenities. It’s close to the airport and well placed for exploring the island. I’d definitely recommend it for a holiday.
