Books in different languages tucked into boxes were one of the lovely little touches we noticed. Ca la Valentina was spotless and really comfortable, and the decor felt very much in keeping with how the owners welcome people. Valentina and Jose were kind to us without reservation. We had a perfect stay, and it would be lovely with family or friends.

The staff were so courteous, and they suggested some tours around the pueblo. We had an amazing weekend. Monasterio de Santa Maria de Poblet is definitely worth a visit.

Parking takes a little figuring out, so follow Valentina's instructions. The house itself is bright, spotless, and spacious, with friendly owners and all the basics provided, including towels, shampoo, and a fully equipped kitchen. It’s a handy base for seeing the nearby castles and monasteries.

We only stayed one night, traveling as a couple with our six-year-old daughter and three-year-old twins. The house was beautiful and spotless, and it had everything we needed: a fully equipped kitchen, huge TV with internet, very fast Wi-Fi, and enough towels for an army. The couple running the place were incredibly helpful, carrying things upstairs and pointing us to parking. A fantastic find.

Valentina was incredibly attentive and helped us with whatever we needed. Everything in the lovely place felt brand new, and we had a wonderful time. We went hiking and cycling around the village, which also has bars and restaurants. The house is set up for cooking too.
