The location is great, and the room was clean, in good order, and had everything needed, though it was a bit small. Check-in is online, and sorting out payment took some back and forth with the people managing the hotel. Once that was done, coming and going whenever we wanted was seamless.

There's no excuse for the room smelling like a toilet, even if it's small, has no elevator, and lacks air conditioning. They also don't mention that the stairs are narrow and winding. Getting anything bigger than a carry-on up to the third floor is nearly impossible. The room fan barely works, so it gets hot and stuffy inside even when it's jacket weather outdoors. You can sleep with the windows open, but they face a fairly busy street. There's no reception area, just an entry code sent by the administration. Their message states in bold letters that you must leave the room by 11, but they don't ask whether you have large suitcases to haul up those stairs.

We had an easy code-based self check-in during Covid, and the room was modern, nice, and clean. We asked over WhatsApp to switch from a double to a twin, and they arranged it easily. The floor heating stayed on somehow, making the room warm at night, though I could open the window. The hotel is right in the centre, with lots of parking nearby. Garage parking is expensive, 16 euros for less than a day. A good stay.

Careful! There's no one inside to welcome you, no physical reception, and no automatic check-in machine. You have to handle check-in yourself and send your passport reference and card number by mobile phone. Never! There's no lift either.
