The views from 970ft up the mountain are amazing, and Mika is the greatest. Getting up there is an interesting drive, so I’d rent a 4x4 next time. We managed in a Fiat 500, but next time I’ll hire a Jeep. We’ll be back.

The house was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the area was so quiet and peaceful. It sits on top of a hill with an ocean view, and the pool gets lots of sun.

You’ll need a rental car. The host was very friendly and spoke German, and the panoramic views were lovely. The furnishings are simple, but the beds are excellent. A good spot to unwind if you like a stark landscape.
