The location is excellent, close to the old town, and the shared spaces look really nice. But the rooms were noisy, smelly and warm, with very little in the way of amenities. It feels like they put the effort into making the common areas look good for Instagram and forgot this is a hotel. Maybe that explains the low price.

The team were welcoming and nice, and the location is great. My room was small and noisy, though the newer rooms look nice. Breakfast didn’t seem worth it.

We paid extra for a renovated room, but the work was patchy, with exposed cuts in the ceiling and a shower that leaked. The room smelled like a septic tank, while the elevators and lobby smelled like a gasoline leak. Definitely not a 3-star hotel.

4/10
The hotel is right in the center of town, and the discount at nearby parking was handy. The rooms, though, were very disappointing: basic and uncomfortable, with mouldy bathrooms. The chic foyer gives a misleading impression, and the prices and photos don’t reflect the state of the place. Maybe they’re in the middle of renovations. The staff weren’t exactly standoffish, but they also weren’t very helpful.

I loved that pets are allowed whatever their size. We’d forgotten our bowls in the car, and the hotel lent us some for our pet.
