Sercotel Plaza Feria

The staff were great, the place was clean, and the price was good. Food service is very limited: there’s no restaurant on Saturday, though the bar serves food from 8 to 10:30 pm, and both the bar and restaurant are closed on Sunday. Sunday breakfast is served in the bar area, but after that there’s just coffee from a machine and a few light snacks. It’s a shame for such a nice hotel. I’d expect the bar to offer drinks and small bites every day, as hotels usually do.

The continental breakfast had a nice selection of fruit, cereal, pastries, and decent coffee. The hot food, though, was lukewarm and underwhelming even though we arrived right on time and were first in line. I’m diabetic and meant to avoid carbs, so the limited protein options were disappointing. Aside from that, it’s a lovely hotel, with a good evening restaurant, kind staff, and a large accessible room with a spacious wet-room shower.

We chose this place because it was listed as dog friendly, but there was nowhere outside the restaurant or bar where we could sit with our dog. One of us had to stay behind with the dog while the other ate breakfast, so we probably wouldn’t stay here again. The room was spacious, the hotel was clean, and breakfast had lots of choice.

A handy spot for a short stay, near the main highway, Plaza, and other out-of-town shops and a cinema. There’s also a secured truck area next door, so plenty of drivers stay here. Our room was spotless, modern, and smelled nice, and the staff were helpful and friendly, with some English. The bar and restaurant were closed, perhaps because it was Sunday, but there were plenty of other places nearby.
