I was stuck overnight after a delay with Ethiopian Airlines and got a voucher for this place. I checked reviews briefly at the airport, thought it seemed decent, and didn’t look much further. I arrived around 1 a.m. and heard singing from a nearby church through a microphone, loud enough for the whole block. I saw a roach in the first room and could hear the church, so the woman at the desk tried to move me to a “better” room. It was bigger, but five minutes later I found another roach. I went back to the desk and said I’d switch hotels and pay myself. The manager had a language barrier and told the front desk woman I needed to delete my photos and videos before they transferred me to another hotel of my choice. Unbelievable. I transferred myself to skylight Hotel, which also partners with Ethiopian airlines, so I don’t understand why they don’t put passengers there in situations like this. This place was disgusting. These reviews must be fake.

I had a good stay at Sunspot Hotel during a flight layover. It was clean and well maintained, and the friendly staff made things comfortable. There weren’t many vegetarian food options, though. It works well for a short stay, but more vegetarian choices would improve it.

The food was just average, and there was no warm water while I was there, which was difficult in the cold weather. Even so, I had a pleasant stay at Sunspot hotel and would recommend it to friends and family. The rooms were a good size and clean, and the hotel was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Its location very close to the airport made arriving and leaving easy, and they also have transport options. The receptionist was gentle and made check-in simple.

Breakfast was wonderful, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. I was there overnight before a flight the next morning, and the airport was only a few minutes away. My room was very clean, with a lovely city view, and that warm shower felt great after nearly 24 hours of travel. I'd recommend it to anyone.
