The place might look welcoming at first, but the managers are arrogant, rude, and disrespectful. If you delay paying a bill, they may charge you more than you owe. I was meant to pay 510 plus 15% tax, but nearly paid 800 birr. They also charge for things you haven’t used. The service is very bad, so be careful about going there.

I stayed at this hotel for nine days in Addis Ababa. The staff are nice, and the room service is good. They only accept payment in dollars. If you need to pay in Birr, they’ll ask for your ATM receipt. Breakfast is served from 7-10am. I didn’t try lunch because I was out at noon. There’s a separate Wi-Fi router on each floor, so you’ll need each floor’s password if you leave your room’s floor.

Yebo Hotel and SPA is close to the AU building, and I really enjoyed the hospitality. The facilities are all world class. When you’re away from home in Ethiopia, this is a place to consider staying.

The location was bad, there was no air conditioning, and the hot-water tap was broken in winter. I stayed only two nights, but they charged me for three days. A very bad hotel.

It’s a quiet place and good overall, but a bit expensive for what it is. Ask ahead about hot water, since you might find it frustrating.
