South Star International Hotel

The location is central but still quiet, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. The staff were friendly, polite, and attentive, and handled every request with care. Highly recommended.

The rooms are clean, and the staff are very helpful and cordial. But for the price, the room size, food taste, and included facilities and room or toilet supplies weren't impressive. They have the items, but you have to ask for them: floor towel, toothbrush and paste, drinking glass, soft tissue. The lobby, rooms, and toilet have old interiors. Many lights don't work, and the towels, pillows, and bed sheets are old.

It sounds like you think highly of South Star Hotel. What specific features or qualities make it the best hotel, in your view? Are there any experiences there that stood out? Location, amenities, customer service, and atmosphere can all shape a great hotel experience. Aweke Abebe

The bed was extremely hard, like sleeping on cement or the bare floor, and there was no AC, so it stayed hot and uncomfortable all night. Bars across the street played music so loudly that it felt like sleeping inside a nightclub. There was no Wi-Fi, and the shower had only cold water. For an international hotel, that was a very poor experience and not worth the stay. I can't recommend South Star International Hotel.
