The hotel has plenty of character, and the rooms are stylish. We had the best shower of our two weeks in Ethiopia, and it was among the best hotels we stayed at there. Dinner was great, especially the goulash soup and grilled chicken. When it's busy, food is either buffet style or a choice of two dishes of the day. On our quieter second day, breakfast and dinner were both à la carte. The restaurant serving staff were terrible, with one or two exceptions. Wi-Fi had lots of interruptions and was rather poor.

There are lots of pleasant places to sit and some nice views. The accommodations are comfortable, with a small, pleasant bar, a basic but okay restaurant, and a little store. Wi-Fi is available, though erratic, and it doesn't reach the rooms.
