Fish & Fun Holiday Cottages

We’ve stayed here twice now and already know we’ll be back. The host is so friendly, and the dinners and breakfast we requested were delicious. Our little house was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and furnished so thoughtfully that it felt like home. It’s a lovely spot for quiet time surrounded by Scandinavian nature. The sauna followed by a swim in the ice hole was unforgettable. Definitely give this place a try.

The staff were quick to respond and did their best to make everyone comfortable. We had sunny weather for most of our stay, then the last two rainy days felt really atmospheric too. There were a few mushrooms around, so we’d love to return with friends in fall and pick some, especially with the autumn scenery in mind. During our summer visit we went fishing with and without a guide, and the motorboats were great and worth the price. We also rented SUP boards, which was relaxing, and grilled every evening. Hope we didn’t bother anyone with that, haha. It’s a beautiful place, and we’ll be back with friends soon!

We felt warmly welcomed, and the food was delicious. Around the camp there are lovely protected paths and lots of unusually beautiful spots to explore. In September we had a great family stay with the kids, fishing, boating, kayaking, and taking walks. We also picked up fresh bread and flowers at the local market and enjoyed the super sauna. A wonderful place to take in Finland’s nature and scenery. I’d recommend it for a family break or a sweet escape for two.

We spent two lovely days here with the lake and nature to enjoy. The wooden house was really nice and had all the conveniences, which mattered a lot with our two small kids. The local playground kept the children entertained. Great for a short family getaway, and it could also work well for sauna fun with friends.
