The Crow's Nest Resort

The price is good, and the resort is on a quiet road. Rooms are big but basic, as you’d expect for the price, and the staff are very friendly. The pool is good, the grounds are nice, and there’s free parking onsite. Beach access is good and snorkeling is okay. It’s an easy walk to other places to eat, so you can mix it up.

I remembered this place from a visit many years ago, so I decided to come back. I booked a villa for two nights, but wasn’t happy with it when I arrived and asked to upgrade to the executive room. At first it seemed nice, but the longer I stayed, the stranger it felt. The balcony’s sliding door had no lock, and because the hotel isn’t properly gated, I felt very unsafe. The tap water was brown, the shower was far too small, and its doors wouldn’t close properly. There was very little lighting too, which was annoying. It just didn’t feel comfortable, cozy, or safe. The view was nice and the staff were friendly, but management needs to work on the place. Breakfast was sad. I think they need to renovate or at least make the place more presentable. I left after the first night and asked for a refund. They said they’d deduct $25, but I just wanted to leave. Wouldn’t recommend. 1/10.

There are beachfront views, a luxurious pool, and a bathing area. The rooms were tidy, clean, and comfortable, serviced daily, and had air conditioning. The bar and restaurant were excellent, with affordable prices. There’s a local bus out front too. Great place to stay.

The snorkeling was great, with so many tropical fish! The sea views are stunning, and the locality is beautiful. We loved our time here at the Crows Nest resort. I’d come back, and probably will, I hope!
