Suva Hideaway Villa

A night from hell. There was no water for the toilet, bathroom or kitchenette, and the wifi modem had been removed early in the evening. The air conditioner didn't work. With no window screens, it was either sweat or get eaten by mozzies.

Quiet, nice accommodation, with amazing staff and great service. I'd recommend this villa to Amy travelling to Suva.

The proprietor, Jack, was polite and friendly, and easily worked out a solution when my flight was delayed by a day. The place was quiet and relaxing, and worth visiting. Its location works well if you're driving, though it may be a hindrance without a car, and my taxi had some trouble finding it. It's not far from hiking, a beach and a small town that might interest travelers. The Victorian building is stunning, with lovely surroundings and an excellent ocean view. My room was clean and a decent size, with basic amenities I might have forgotten at home. The backyard badly needed cleaning, perhaps because repairs were underway, and I was bummed the pool was empty. The wifi dongle could be moved around, but at times I couldn't use it in my room, which I need for work. Vinaka Jack!

The host was friendly and helpful, and the views of the ocean and mountains are great.
