The family two-bedroom apartments have cooking facilities, and being next to supermarkets makes this place useful for travelling officials as well as families. Our energetic, loud kids may have made us better suited to a one-night stay. Security guards came to ask us to keep the noise down, but less than ten minutes later there was loud clapping from upstairs and no one went to speak with them.
Cockroaches keep appearing all over the room, and the bathroom wasn't properly cleaned, with dirt in the toilet corners. The door is hard to open. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place unless you're okay with cockroaches.
We waited around 30 minutes at reception while three staff members were there, but nobody acknowledged or helped us. When we eventually spoke to someone, they said they'd check with staff inside about pool access. Another 30 minutes went by with no update or communication, so we left. Hexagon Hotel Nadi needs better communication, attentiveness, and basic courtesy towards guests.
Meroni is Hexagon's biggest treasure. As soon as she comes into contact with you, the experience becomes memorable. If Fijian hospitality had a name, it would be Meroni. There are plenty of flaws with the hotel, including the staff, rooms, and facilities, but she stands out.
The staff were friendly, and when our AC started leaking, they came to fix it right away. My boys really enjoyed the pool. The hotel is conveniently located from Nadi International Airport. We enjoyed our one-night stay while travelling through Fiji.
