Oneta Resort

We brought our family along for our fourth visit to Oneta Resort and, as ever, were thoroughly pampered. The two villas were lovely, roomy and comfortable, and the plunge pools were a big hit. The location is brilliant, and all the staff are so caring, loving and attentive. A heartfelt thank you from all ten of us.

The group meals were one of the best parts of our trip. Sharing stories and meeting other travelers felt easy and fun, and the chef’s incredible meals were every bit as memorable. Between scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking and fresh coconuts, my sister and I had plenty to enjoy, with the wonderful staff making it all even better. I’ve traveled quite a bit, and our stay at Oneta Resort was truly one of the best vacations we’ve had. Fiji is amazing on its own, but the people, culture and whole experience at Oneta made this trip a complete 10/10. I was nervous about getting my Scuba Certifications, but Anne and Lizzie made the process seamless, and I felt confident in their hands the whole time. There isn’t a thing we’d change. We cried when we left and can’t wait to return. Thank you to the entire Oneta Family!!

The snorkeling and diving at the Astrolabe Reef were the best we’ve seen in Fiji, and the pristine coral, turquoise water and lush tropical surroundings made the setting feel like paradise. The food was fresh and delicious, and the rooms were spotless, comfortable and peaceful, with a mix of rustic charm and understated luxury. From arrival, the team made us feel like family. They took care to make the stay personal and intimate, and the staff’s warmth and attention made us feel genuinely looked after. Special thanks to Richard and Kat for their wonderful hospitality, kindness and energy. Our stay at Oneta Resort was magical and exceeded our expectations. We’re leaving with lovely memories and full hearts, and we promise to return. A rare gem, thank you for everything!

Oneta is more than a resort, it’s a place with real heart. We left feeling like family and can’t wait to return. Vinaka vakalevu to the whole Oneta team for memories we’ll treasure for a lifetime. The reef trips and time learning about Fijian traditions were once-in-a-lifetime experiences, even though we’re eager to come back and do them again. Snorkeling along the Great Astrolabe Reef, we encountered manta rays, sea turtles and curious, gentle reef sharks, among other magnificent species. The ocean views were breathtaking, and the meals were delicious. The staff were incredibly kind, and the work of the Oneta Foundation supporting local communities, culture and the environment touched us. Every detail was carefully thought through and carried out with warmth, genuine care and true Fijian hospitality, from the airport greeting to the emotional goodbye. Special thanks to Richard for coordinating everything so seamlessly, and to Anne and the dive team for their passion and dedication to the reef and marine life.
