Wavi Island -Villas

The hosts made this holiday memorable with their warmth and genuine care. They helped organize activities, took us to the grocery shops, and arranged a chef-prepared meal at our villa that was worth the cost. We left having made friends for life, and can’t recommend this hidden gem highly enough. Our family had plenty of room in the three-bedroom accommodation, with each bedroom in its own villa. The villas were thoughtfully designed to fit the natural setting. The island’s beauty and serenity made a perfect escape from everyday bustle, and the stay exceeded our expectations.

We had Wavi island entirely to ourselves, and the managers made sure we had complete privacy. We renewed our vows there, and Shabana and Josh went above and beyond for the celebration. They prepared a traditional Fijian meal cooked underground, followed the next night by an Indian meal. They also hired Fijian fire dancers just for us, and on the second night we drank kava with three Fijian singers and the family. Shabana, Josh, Rishad, and all the staff became our family. We left part of our hearts there. Absolute paradise, the most amazing place we’ve ever been.

The horses are healthy and well treated, and the owners and guides are great. They’re very accommodating. A first-class experience and a must-do for tourists at any level.
