Daku Resort

The staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and the property seemed well kept and conveniently located. I only stayed one night and didn't get to try many of the facilities. Wi-Fi kept cutting out, so getting work done and checking in for my flight was difficult. I also noticed a few worms and ants, plus some droppings on the sheets. I understand some bugs come with a tropical island, though pest control seemed a little better at other places I stayed. It was still a pleasant stay.

We had driven all the way from Suva and then waited more than 30 minutes because the key wouldn't work. We were expected to check ourselves in and find our own room or villa. I called four times for help, but was still waiting for staff to come assist us. The service was terrible, and I hope nobody else has to deal with that.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and my Bure was just right, with a lovely view over the water, green lawns, and palm trees. Delia and JJ, thank you for making this such a friendly little resort. We had a lot of fun on your trips to the villages and town. I can't wait to return, and maybe we can get a game of Scrabble in! The beach is within walking distance of town, and you can go snorkeling there. It's rocky and has seaweed. You don't need to stay at one of the resorts to use the beach. I didn't stay at the resorts.
