The location worked really well, just minutes from Aix’s historic center, yet the place stayed so peaceful. The garden is sublime, and the bedding was ultra-comfortable. I also loved how carefully everything was thought through, from the decor and amenities to the little touches. It was calm and green, with a soothing feel that made it easy to relax. Les Écrins has that Provençal charm but still feels modern and impeccably clean. We were welcomed so warmly, with real attention from the moment we arrived. It felt like a true haven in the heart of Aix-en-Provence. Huge thanks to the hosts for their hospitality and generosity. I’d absolutely come back, whether for a romantic break, a family holiday, or some time away on my own. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

The cottage was clean and well equipped, and getting into Aix was convenient. We enjoyed visiting the big market in the city center, then coming back to such a peaceful spot. There’s plenty of space and greenery, a beautiful pool, and a magnificent view from in front of the cottages. A wonderful place to recharge. We had a lovely time here. The hosts were so kind and welcoming, and took great care of us. Thank you to the owners. We’d happily return. Af 🍀

Christian and Joëlle are very friendly, and we liked the quiet setting and location, about a half-hour walk from Cours Mirabeau. The cottage itself is simple and functional, with a large property and a beautiful pool.

I’m usually not very comfortable around dogs, but I’ve adopted Pacha and Pilou! They’re incredibly endearing. Pacha likes to play, but will keep his distance if you ask, and he follows commands. The cottage is near the center of Aix, a beautiful city with lots to see and do. The owners are incredibly attentive while still being discreet. We got such a warm welcome in a charming setting. The cottage is peaceful, tucked into greenery, tastefully decorated, and fully equipped. It’s a lovely place to recharge, and we slept wonderfully. I’ll definitely be back with great pleasure.
