Chambres d'hotes La Petite Charnasserie

Breakfast here was superb, with four kinds of bread including homemade, pastries, yogurt, honey and jam made at home, plus fresh and dried fruit, nuts, juices, and more. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were spacious. La Petite Charnesserie feels like a peaceful country escape right in Angers, with chickens, beehives, a vegetable garden, shady trees 🌳 and a swimming pool. Great service and quality. A place I'd happily return to.

We had a generous, varied breakfast in the lovely room overlooking the wooded grounds. We only asked for bread and still got four different kinds. Behind the closed gate, the greenery and quiet made it feel like we were out in the countryside. Our "longère" room had a kitchenette for snacks and all the comforts we needed. Thanks for the warm welcome and for sharing the story of the house, restored with care while keeping its original style.

The owner was flexible about our arrival and very welcoming, which made our overnight stay for a wedding near Angers easy for my family and me. It was a cozy, peaceful place, and we felt completely at ease. The host was thoughtful and attentive, and breakfast was generous and varied. I highly recommend it. Many thanks for such kind hospitality, and for a lovely, convivial pause in a place that felt restorative.

A real refuge where you feel at ease. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the setting is exceptional, with genuine respect for nature.
