The breakfast was comprehensive and worth paying for, and there’s a restaurant next door we enjoyed, La Chouette. A garage nearby offers parking. Still, I probably wouldn't book again, even though it was fine for one night. The online photos made the room look nicer than it was. In person it was pretty basic, though mostly clean. The bathroom could have used a better scrub. We paid extra for a balcony room but barely got to enjoy the balcony. The bed was okay, but there weren't enough pillows for us. I was glad to have air conditioning, but it clicked every few minutes through the night and made it hard to sleep. It felt only a couple of steps above a hostel.

Right downtown, with a 24/7 front desk. We were absolutely happy with the hotel and its location. The beds were the best we've had on this trip. Classy and clean.

In February, I arrived to find the room's main heating broken. There was a small extra heater already in the room, but it only worked while the key was in the slot, so the room wouldn't stay warm while I was out. I reported the problem at reception and was told someone would come. After more than an hour, the woman at the desk came up herself, confirmed the heater was broken, and said the extra one should be enough. I was only staying one night and wanted to go out that evening. I said it wasn't acceptable to charge full price for a room with known heating problems, and asked to move. They said they were fully booked and could only offer another small heater. When I asked about the power issue, her answer was that I should stay in the room. Her English was very limited, so she said she couldn't do more and that I should speak to the manager in the morning. I did my best to warm the room and ended up with a really bad cold overnight. The next morning, a Sunday, I asked for the manager or anyone who spoke English so I could discuss a price reduction. I was told the manager wouldn't be there until Wednesday, three days after I was leaving. The receptionist promised someone would contact me about reducing the price, since a room without heating shouldn't be sold at full price in February. It felt like sleeping on the street. Since then, the hotel hasn't answered my emails, requests, or calls. Completely unacceptable service. Please don't stay here.

Breakfast had a good range of food, and Claire and Barbara at the front desk were kind. The room was clean, though I assume ours wasn't one of the nicest. It was reached from the Bar side by a very narrow staircase. There was an old bathtub instead of a walk-in shower, and showering flooded the bathroom. Otherwise, it was bearable. The central location is excellent, just 20 meters from a very convenient underground parking lot. It is a three-star hotel.

The city-centre square location was great, with a tram stop very close by for anyone arriving by train. The staff were lovely, and breakfast was great. Our room was big enough, with a modern bathroom, and the air conditioning was noisy, but at least it was there. It's a quaint hotel with some interesting decor. If you're driving, be sure you know where you're going and where to park. Google Maps hasn't caught up with the road closures for pedestrianisation, and getting there by car was no fun for us.
