I paid for five nights but left after just one. They said the refund would arrive within two weeks, but it’s been over two months and nothing has come through. I’ve emailed them dozens of times and still haven’t heard anything about it. They should be ashamed of how they treat customers. The place is in a bad spot, right on a roundabout, and the parking area is awful, with broken asphalt and huge potholes. The hotel and rooms were dark, dirty, ugly, and smelled bad. The service was basically nonexistent, the people were rude, and nobody spoke English. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

It's fine for a one-night stop, but don't expect the standard of an American Best Western. The damp smell is hard to miss, and the photos make it look better than it is. It's also right on a roundabout. Parking is just a poorly surfaced, unsecured space. I paid exactly the same here as I did for a really smart hotel in Spain. Hey ho.

The rooms are simple, but clean and have the basic things you need. It's about 10 minutes from downtown. Breakfast was good, and the receptionist was kind and helpful.

I come through Angoulême regularly and always stay here. The room was tidy, and the bedding spotless. The bathroom was clean and had toiletries provided. The staff were attentive and always smiling, and the welcome was excellent. Breakfast had a good selection, both sweet and savory, with pastries and more. I highly recommend the hotel.

The staff were friendly and pleasant, and breakfast was complete. The room had plenty of space, even with a baby cot, and the hotel is well placed for going on walks.
