Villa Bam Bam

Villa Bambam has a fantastic house and garden with a pool, and the interior design and attention to detail are lovely. Our booking through their own website was cheaper than on other sites, and payment went smoothly, though its cancellation terms differ and don't allow a refund. The host was quick and helpful in writing, arranged a taxi, suggested restaurants, and catered for my husband's nut allergy, which we really appreciated. We knew there was no A/C in any room, as the booking sites clearly say so. Still, we visited during a heatwave and chose the attic family room, Blop, with its tiny windows. It was about 35 degrees at night, so we didn't sleep at all. That's not the hosts' fault, but personally I wouldn't choose Villa Bambam in the summer. I’m giving four stars because we felt the host disliked us for some reason. One of us used the toilet just before we left, and that meant we checked out seven minutes late. Since the family room opens onto the bathroom and the bedrooms are behind it, people couldn't use the toilet while others were going in and out of the room. The host got angry and pointed out twice that checkout was at noon, not 12:07. It felt unnecessary to have a conflict over seven minutes right as we were leaving. It left a bad taste and annoyed me for days, and I wouldn't return.

We had such a relaxing weekend at Villa Bam Bam and loved our two-night stay. Julie was a wonderful host, greeting us warmly and serving amazing food for breakfast and lunch. Mambo s art is gorgeous, and the view is incredible. The swimming pool made it even better. Go, you won't regret it.

The rooms have a cosy charm, and the villa's artistic decor is one of a kind. With all that vegetation around it, the place feels idyllic, and the sunsets are magical.

A beautiful spot in southern France, with amazing tenants, lovely style, and a real paradise feel.
