The hosts know the Camargue inside out, especially its horses and bulls. They can point you toward exciting arenas for the Course Camarguaise and help arrange tours, restaurants, and interesting places most tourists might not find. They were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. The B&B is in a quiet, private setting near a main road, about halfway between Arles and Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer. The grounds are beautifully kept, with a pool and a patio where breakfast is served. Breakfast was a real treat: fresh pastries and bread, local fruit, cheese, homemade jams, and freshly squeezed orange juice.

The location is good, the host is friendly, and breakfast is great. The room itself was basic but clean. Booking was a problem from the start: on our first attempt, getting a clear reply to emails or calls was already difficult. The second time, several emails and voicemails went unanswered. We had a phone confirmation, but it was never confirmed by email. We relied on the call, only to arrive and find our room had been given to other guests. That felt very unprofessional.

The rooms smelled, the food was bad, and they kept expecting tips. The people there didn’t know I spoke French, and I heard them tell a restaurant owner to overcharge me. When I asked about it, they denied it. Not a good place. Stay away.

Our room looked out onto the garden and had plenty of space, with a cozy feel and everything we needed to settle in comfortably. The host made us feel very welcome. The property is surrounded by greenery and feels both understated and elegant, with a wonderfully calm atmosphere. Its location is handy too, right by the entrance to the Camargue Regional Natural Park and only a short drive from the Domaine de Méjeane.
