We were told this place was good, but we came away disagreeing. The weekend menu cost 27€ per person, and the food didn't feel carefully prepared at all. The staff were friendly, but seemed poorly trained, and the courses came without any sense of continuity. We could tell they were trying, but the kitchen and management were nowhere to be seen. Sorry, but this wasn't a good meal.
We paid 18.50€ for the set menu, entrée, plat et dessert, and got plenty of hot food. The atmosphere was relaxing, the service friendly, and the price very reasonable. I'd recommend it.
My hotel's restaurant was full, so I ended up having dinner here. The food was amazing, everyone was friendly, and the staff spoke pretty good English. A great meal all around.
The coffee is SUPER TASTY, and Le Métropole has such a cosy feel with enthusiastic employees. If you get a late start to the day, they'll even let you have a croissant from the bakery next door on the terras.
