There’s no TV in the rooms, despite what the descriptions say, but it wasn’t a big deal. The place is very quiet and relaxing, just as you’d expect, and Mrs. Papail gave us such a warm welcome. She’s a really kind, friendly person. We had a very pleasant stay.

Breakfast was generous, served whenever you wanted, and came with coffee, tea or hot chocolate, orange juice, pastries, yogurt, and especially tasty homemade jams. Our room in the Mimosa suite was spotless, with a spacious walk-in shower, and there was free Wi-Fi. The owners were welcoming and happy to suggest places to visit and nearby restaurants, and they also offer walking tours. The house itself is beautiful, decorated with good taste and an old-world feel. It’s peaceful and green, while still close to Dol-de-Bretagne, with its shops and restaurants, and Mont Saint-Michel. Nearby, the working Moidrey Mill sells flour on-site and offers guided tours that are well worth taking (35, Route des Moulins, 50170 Moidrey). The magnificent Mehnir du Champ Dolent is over nine meters high, with picnic tables nearby (35120 Dol de Bretagne). A lovely stay, with everything you need for a great time in Brittany.
