We used this cheap Ibis just outside Bar-le-Duc as a stop on the way to Switzerland. The rooms were small and dated, though clean. Our family room had a little table, a TV, a double bed, and an upper bunk for our daughter. The toilet and shower were separate, but the sink was in the bedroom, so there wasn't privacy for shaving. It was okay for a stopover and just about worth the price. The hotel is large and has free parking. I was surprised to find CCS chargers there and used one at a very reasonable rate. There are a few places to eat within walking distance. It's on a retail park about a five-minute drive outside the town centre. Check-in is self-service, as at most F1/Ibis hotels in France, though a worker was at the door and helped us.

Aircon rooms, WiFi, and a quality breakfast make this very good value for money. It's significantly better than F1 hotels for only a little more. This will definitely be our stopover of choice when we travel through France in future.

I had some personal issues during my stay, and the staff helped me wholeheartedly, especially Tahra, the Manager, and Khadija, Housekeeping. The service, cleanliness, and location were all really impressive. This place is truly worth the money.

The restaurant is comfortable and has a great variety of dishes, with a chef cooking vegetables, meat, and fish. It's near the city and right by the shopping centre Leclerc, with free parking. A bit expensive, and you can only speak French, but the staff are friendly. I recommend it.

The bedroom was up to standard for a typical budget hotel. It's out of town in a commercial area, but being next to the main through route makes for a quick getaway.
