Clos de Bellefontaine B&B

Carole's lovingly prepared breakfast was a delight, and we really enjoyed the lounge, with its sweets and reading materials. Our room is magnificent, with a private bathroom, in a beautifully decorated house with such fine, quintessentially French style. This luxury accommodation is in lovely Bayeux, perfectly placed for a 10-minute walk into town.

Carole helped us feel like friends, even family, by the time we left Clos de Bellefontaine. She was exceptionally accessible before and during the visit, and cheerfully adjusted when a rail strike forced a change in our plans. Despite important family obligations, she kept up her excellent hospitality and service. Before we arrived, she suggested restaurants and car rental options, then shared extensive, useful information about the sites and museums we might want to see. The location was convenient, the property beautiful, and the house clean, comfortable, and welcoming. A relaxed, enjoyable stay in Carole and Jerome's lovely house a few weeks ago. The room was great and breakfast even better. We'd happily recommend staying here and hope to come back ourselves.

We spent three nights here and found our host pleasant and helpful. It was a quick, easy walk to the town center and all the sights. The breakfast room was nicely decorated, and the table setup and food were outstanding. The yard was lovely for sitting and listening to birds, and there's gated private parking. Our room and bathroom were very nice.
