The hotel is right in the center of the city, and we plan to return in September. We’ve had one of the friendliest staff experiences here: they quickly dealt with a room problem, helped with directions and recommendations, and ordered us a taxi. It was also nice having a bar, where we had many pleasant conversations with the staff. Such a lovely place, and I’d recommend it to anyone.

Calling this place “Grand” and giving it 4 **** feels out of touch. It’s dated and urgently needs refurbishing. The water pressure made it a challenge to shower with shampoo, and the advertised free WiFi didn’t work on any of the three devices we tried. I’d rather pay for working WiFi. Luckily, the real 4 star hotel around the corner let us connect, and it worked in seconds. Time to get things together!

The rooms are a bit smaller than in some newer hotels, which is to be expected in an older building. Everything was clean, the facilities were lovely, and the staff were lovely too. Excellent service across the board. I’d definitely stay again.

The location is great for walking to place de Quebec, a popular departure point for tours. Our junior suite was clean and the bed was comfortable, but it felt dated. There was a jetted tub for two in the middle of the room, with only a handheld shower and no curtain.

I got a kind welcome and help with my spa appointment from Martine. Louhann was professional and courteous, looking after me while also giving me the space I needed. I really appreciated her English. The warm, comfortable bar was a great place to have tea and rilllettes while getting some work done.
