The owners and staff are what make Le Clos de la Chapelle stand out. They went above and beyond with their hospitality and service. Gregory and Selma are lovely hosts, and we also had the chance to meet Anna, who works at the Selma Alabama cafe and is one of those special people who make traveling worthwhile. The cafe served an excellent breakfast. Even if you don't stay here, it's worth stopping in for brunch, tea, or a bite. The B&B itself is beautiful, thoughtfully decorated, spacious, and close to great restaurants and shops. We chose it as a base for the Normandy beaches and San Saint Michel, though Bayeux itself is well worth a few days.

Selma and Gregory were incredibly kind and accommodating. My room was beautifully decorated, very clean, and the bed was so comfortable. It felt tucked away even though it was right on the main road. I had an early train, and they insisted on packing a latte and pastries for me to take along. They were delicious. Some of the best hospitality I've had. I'd recommend staying here and plan to return on my next visit.

Selma and Gregory were the best hosts, thoughtful, accommodating, hardworking, and great cooks. We had a stay at Le Clos de la Chapelle that went beyond what we expected. Selma is easy to spot, just look for the happiest person around with the friendliest smile.

We felt very welcome at Le Clos de La Chapelle, and really enjoyed our stay. Selma and Gregory are charming proprietors. We'll definitely come back when we're next in Bayeux.

Selma and Gregory were wonderful hosts, and breakfast at their ground-floor restaurant was excellent. This charming boutique hotel sits in the historic center of Bayeux, close to great restaurants and a short walk from the Tapestry Museum and other sights. Highly recommended, and we hope to return.
