Our hosts made planning each day easy and showed us places we never would have found ourselves. This wonderful B&B is right in the heart of Bayeux, one of the few towns in that part of France that wasn’t bombed by the allies. There’s plenty to enjoy beyond the nearby Normandy sites: the spacious, comfortable rooms, restaurants, shops and Bayeux tapestry are all an easy walk away. Breakfast was great, with what may have been the best coffee in France, and there’s a living room and limited reserved parking too. Highly recommend staying here.

The house was wonderful, and the hosts greeted us warmly at the door and showed us what to see in and around Bayeux. Our rooms were beautifully decorated, very quiet and made for a great night’s sleep. The beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was amazing. My family also loved relaxing in the garden. Bayeux itself is amazing, and if you’re coming to explore, you must stay here!

The hosts were so friendly and had useful tips for places to eat and nearby towns. Breakfast came with fresh fruit and great jam, and you could relax in the garden with tea or coffee during the day. The room was lovely, with inexpensive parking or free street parking to choose from, and it got nice and dark at night. The one heavy bed cover made it hard to stay at a comfortable temperature, though, and that affected my sleep. That was the only downside, but it kept me from giving five stars.

We arrived late on Monday, and the family running the place still made us feel well looked after. They were clearly keen to give good service. Communication in both English and French was excellent, the room was very nice, and breakfast was very good. I’d happily recommend staying here again.

We escaped Paris for the weekend and had a lovely stay. The hosts were really accommodating, the room was well equipped and lovely, and the service was excellent. They made room for our toddler without any trouble. Thank you!
